John W.F. Miller has been a Photographer for over 20 years. He began his career in the Boston area photographing weddings, bands and concerts, and the local scenery. He moved to Vermont in the late 80's and worked at the Killington Mountain Resort for 10 years photographing racers, families, winter sports, equine events and local night club concerts. He started his own business in 1996 named Spectrum Photography and has since moved to Belmont, Vermont. The business name was wnhanced to Spectrum Photography Garden Studio to include the wonderful gardens around the property.
Spectrum Photography is now completely digital and offers many online services and products to display your images. There are all kinds of enhancements available to any photograph including sepia tone, B&W and many specialized options. John uses Adobe Photoshop to create special effects and take out unwanted elements of any photograph (for example: wrinkles, acne, a stray hair or objects in the background). He will work on a photograph to give you exactly what you want.
For the wedding customer, John works with each couple to understand their desire for a final product and then creates it for them. He has worked at most local wedding spots and has traveled most of New England at his clients request. John captures the details of the wedding couples special day and then presents them in the form they have chosen. He makes sure each customer is completely satisfied. They always come back for portraits of their growing family and they recommend John to all their friends.
John really enjoys his work. He has a special talent and uses it to create just the right photograph. No matter the weather, the location or the time, John achieves the goal. He is very relaxed and comfortable with his work and makes his clients feel at ease. He tailors his approach for each individual to give them what they are looking for in a finished product.
John also photographs horse events such as fox hunts and Inn to Inn rides. He is hired for brochure photos and band promotions plus numerous commercial applications.
